File Jira bugs automatically

When a replay fails, BugTrail can create a Jira Cloud issue containing the steps to reproduce, the error, the environment, a screenshot and the recording.

Before you begin

You need a Jira Cloud site, a project, and an API token.

1. Create a token at id.atlassian.com under Security > API tokens.
2. Set these environment variables:

JIRA_EMAIL	you@example.com
JIRA_API_TOKEN	the token you created
JIRA_PROJECT_KEY	SHOP
JIRA_ISSUE_TYPE	optional, defaults to Bug

File a bug

node bin/replay.js recording.json --jira

If the replay fails, an issue is created. If it passes, nothing is created.

What is attached

The recording is attached with cookie and storage values removed. Never put tokens in an issue by hand.

Tested against a simulated Jira

The integration is verified against a local fake Jira server, not yet a real site. If it fails on your Jira, please report a problem.
